Horse tack - the famous Pee Wee Horse Bits available at Pee Wee Bit.com.

Fitting Instructions
When the Pee Wee bit is sitting correctly in the mouth there should be little to no wrinkles in the corners of the horse's mouth.
Adjust the bridle cheek straps to ensure the mouth bar of the bit contacts the corners of the mouth with light pressure only.
Adjust the cheek straps to avoid wrinkles.
The chin strap should be loose allowing the bit to move freely. When fitted you should be able to slide 2 or 3 fingers between the strap and the chin.
A Perfect Fit - This photo shows the bit correctly fitted with the Rings Turned Down, and excerting light pressure on the mouth, with no wrinkles.
Note: With the reins fitted to the top rings the bit acts as a Snaffle Bit. There is no leverage or (curb) pressure applied by the strap. When pressure is applied on the reins, the strap sits comfortably under the chin, with out applying pressure.
View below 3 ways to fit the Pee Wee Bit.

LARGE RING TURNED DOWN and reins attached to LARGE RING
Recommended position for day to day riding - trail riding, barrel racing, campdrafting, team penning, horse racing, driving etc.
Also recommended for educating and breaking in horses.
With the reins on the tops rings the Pee Wee is a Snaffle Bit.
Keeper strap remains loose under chin.

LARGE RING UP and reins attached to LARGE RING
This position elevates the bar in the mouth which prevents the horse getting its tongue over the bar. Also useful for educating and breaking in young horses as it prevents them from getting the tongue over the bit.
Can be use with bit-lifter as shown in this example.
Remedial position to prevent mouth chafing (common in race horses) by keeping the large rings away from the sides of the mouth. If the condition already exists this position will help promote healing.
With the reins on the tops rings the Pee Wee is a Snaffle Bit.
Keeper strap remains loose under chin.

LARGE RING UP and reins attached to SMALL RINGS
Recommended position for Eventing, show jumping, reining and roping etc.
Leverage position - With the reins on the small rings the Pee Wee Bit changes from a snaffle bit to a Curb Bit. With pressure on the reins mild curb pressure is applied.
Can be use with bit-lifter as shown in this example.
Keeper strap remains loose under chin.
